Reddit is online collectivism

Basically, reddit sucks. Did I just say that?

Think about it. People 'think' reddit promote free speech and diversity of opinions and individual liberty and individualism but it does not.

Your opinions are just down-voted for fun, because they are hurt, because the mods are upset and other reasons rather than any logical reasons, even blatantly deleted because they expose the status quo. When asked, they just say "Hey, it is the auto-moderator"


The recent episodes at r/vpn has shown, that a group of people, can basically hold even a private company such as PIA hostage making up ridiculous arguments and falsely associating people who like this service as online trolls and shills.

There are even people asking PIA to stop affiliate marketing, which is legal, and trying to decide what PIA should do and shouldn't do.

One guy even said that PIA has grown too big and should stop marketing at all. Imagine that. I thought communism was defeated.


If any vpn company feel threatened by PIA vpn, they should improve their services and provide better competition, instead of trying to portray PIA vpn and their users as evil and engaging in online collectivism.

They should just ask Fidel Castro to nationalize the American PIA vpn.

    Just create a new VPN subreddit that is PIA friendly, e.g. r/VPNimpartial. Put together evidence in screenshots to show how r/VPN is biased.

    In time with enough x-posted articles you may leech enough visitors from r/VPN to leave the shills to themselves.

    I really doubt this can work as well as you think. Some manual moderation is always going to be required.

    catcher is a master programmer and he says he can do it without monitoring or manual moderation. catcher doesnt want to run a subreddit like lugh runs r/vpn
