Turn on and off
Hi
Just a quick question is there a way to open up the login menu for the VPN to signin and out when needed. The reason i ask is that im a gamer and having the sever changed from my location really stuffs with the ping and in turn lag.
At the moment i have to reinstall the program to turn it on and then shut down the computer to turn it off. Is there anyway around doing this?

The answer to your question can vary a little depending on what operating system you're using, and what method you're using to connect to the VPN.
For instance, are you using our own PIA Client application to connect?
If you are using our client, and running it on a Windows operating system, then the best coarse of action would be to create a desktop shortcut to launch the program. This will prevent you from having to re-install the application. You will find the instructions for this below:
Click your Start button. Click Computer. Go into your C: drive. Open
Program Files (not Program Files x86). Look for the pia_manager folder.
Open it. Right click pia_manager executable file and select "Create
Shortcut". Drag the newly created shortcut to your desktop. You can now
launch the client from your desktop by right clicking this icon and
selecting "Run as Administrator".
When the application is running it will appear as a icon in your system tray, you can then right click on that icon and from the menu that pops up you can connect, access settings, etc.
If you are using an operating system other than Windows, or if you're using a different connection method, please let us know so we can adjust our instructions accordingly.
