What can we all do to fight TPP, DMCA, and general unconstitional BS
I figured a privacy company would be a good place to discuss this --
I feel it is my destiny, and god's plan for me to fight against these institutions, which will only pave the road to slavery for anyone who is not part of TPTB at present.
I know a bit "conspiracy" and "whacko", but the reality is out there in front of us in plain sight, and only becoming clearer every day.
I think it is important to do more than place warrant canaries, sit and watch as freedom is ripped from our hands every day.
I think we need to plan and discuss what we all can do, will do, and should do.
this is more than watching a movie for free -- more than not being tracked by advertisers -- this is affordable access to medical care, the right to own and operate businesses AND BE COMPETITIVE AND THRIVE, the right to modify and use our technology in any way which is feasible that we like, and the right to participate in any behavior without having a specific license and the proper zoning to do so (free speech zones = NO FREE SPEECH)
while protest is the most viable option, and I think we all need to organize more of it -- I doubt it will be enough alone, I dont think anyone cares how the people feel anymore.
discuss as you will, and if not, then I guess this post will sink to the bottom of eternity.

I would suspect that in North America enough people are content and don't have time to protest, or that they are indeed annoyed by the way things are going, but not enough to take a day off to hold up a sign and demonstrate/protest. I believe a lot more people would have to get behind privacy in order for governments to change their policies, but it never hurts to discuss non-violent methods of protest. As it stands, our VPN service is one of the better ways to evade observation and slow the loss of freedoms.
it is a big deal, and a big loss for any of us who had hoped for a truly fair world with a revised economy and big changes....
Im a dreamer, and I dont WANT to do anything violent. I will say however, that when and if things turn nasty, I'll be the last to give in and obey
If things turn nasty as you put it, get the hell out of there. If you stay, then either you get arrested and your very cause becomes associated with criminal activities even if you were innocent, or you leave and your message survives to be told another day, or another way.
