privacy-oriented Android apps

I'm looking for some privacy-oriented Android apps, that I want to replace my Google apps with. For example, instead of Chrome, I'm using Firefox, instead of Gmail, I'm using K-9, and so on.

What I'm currently looking for are good, privacy-oriented replacements for Google Keep (notes app), Google Calendar, as well as Dialer and contacts Does anyone know good apps like this (possibly with sync option)?

    It has been a while since I have logged into this forum, but there is one guy here who can probably help.  Not sure if he is still around but I think his name is UFO Bob.  He is brilliant and always offers deep insight into all things related to net security.

    I am really glad you came to your senses.  I am now certain we are talking about the same person.

    Keloka - sorry for hijacking this thread, but I too am interested in these android apps and was hoping that UFO Bob would chime in to help.  He may be getting ready to declare his candidacy for president as OmniNegro noted so he may be very busy at the moment.  He is very articulent in writing and eloquent when speaking so I look forward to his declaration speech.

    UFO Bob uses a Silent Circle Blackphone so the MIB cannot track him though.  They also offer secure apps for Android.  UBob (only his supporters call him this) might be able to elaborate.
