Comcast Outage Reported - No Significant VikingVPN Impact
We have learned that Comcast is having a significant outage on the west coast of the US. We peer with Comcast directly in Phoenix and Seattle. We have managed the issue and users should only see slight increases in ping until Comcast is fully restored. For now, our other carriers are picking up the Comcast slack.
Users that do not use Comcast internet services should see no change in performance..

1. PIA is not that different from any other VPN in that it still requires the Internet to work.
2. Without the Internet, no VPN will matter.
3. For you to connect to any VPN there must be a working Internet for you to use.
4. For you to have working Internet, ISPs like Comcast are required.
5. If you read a bit more, you may have realized that they never said their service was effected. They merely informed customers that their ISP may be the cause of problems at the time.
If vikingvpn can claim they are premium then I can claim pia is the most sophisticated. Vikingvpn uses the same internet and data centers as every other vpn so why does that idiot get to claim he is premium? the only thing premium about Viking is the price.lol
An equally good option is to disregard that service entirely. In fact, that is the only option for you with long term potential.
