Are there any
plans for a server in Spain? This would be very valuable for me, and
the lack of one is becoming a strong reason to switch provider in the
future.
Spanish is the official language** in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile,Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Maybe there are spanish content orginating from Spain for people living in these countries.
I also would be very pleased to have a Spanish server.
I can also add that a couple of months ago a friend of mine asked me for VPN services and I told him about a few providers, pointing out that I was using PIA and I considered it a very good one but for two flaws: 1) a problem with geolocation of Italian servers, which I signaled many times to the technical support, without luck up to now 2) the lack of a Spanish server.
The second was the main reason he was looking for VPN: sorry, guys: you missed one customer...
I did not say I am leaving PIA: when I subscribed I knew there was no Spanish or Italian server but in the list of my priorities these were at the bottom whereas for all other properties PIA was my best choice, so I went for it. In any case, I would really appreciate them and if sooner or later my interests will change then, yes, I will change provider trading servers for something else, but I don't think this will happen in a foreseable future. Yet, PIA adding these (working!) servers would be really appreciated.
On the other hand, I REALLY do have a friend whose first priority is a Spanish server and he had no choice but go for another provider, even if for all other features PIA suited him well.
And I confirm that: my friend had to choose his provider and, despite me talking well about PIA, he chose another provider simply because he was looking for spanish contents. So maybe you prefer me to say "PIA lost a potential customer"? In any case, he is now a customer but of another provider: from my point of view, PIA indeed lost a customer!
+1 for a server in Spain.. My PIA renewal is in 31 days and the server would be a deal breaker for me.. Please PIA help us out, I really like the service.
Please make it happen, add a Spanish server! Can't believe almost all relevant EU countries have it but not Spain.
I am about to order a VPN service. After some research, I've seen the best option is PIA, unfortunately I need a Spanish IP in order to access some Spanish digital streaming services I legally pay for, so I can't use PIA for that.
I will be forced to pick a different option if you don't add a Spanish server. Please make it happen!!
Another vote for Spanish servers! While the VPN service mostly works very well, I'm sorely missing a server in Spain since quite a few websites (with login) here block connections from other countries.
Also, the "Auto" connection should ideally be configurable to connect from a user selection of countries.
Still no Spanish server, you have nearly all EU countries, and many non-EU in Europe, but still Spain is not there. Not that it makes any sense.
I am tired of waiting, I've been told you were much better than others, but I had to go with WiTopia, as they have Spanish servers. And I was lucky, as my colleagues at work also needed the same and I was able to get some nice referral bonuses as they signed with WiTopia too.
I have yearlong subscription with PIA, and one of the reasons I committed for that length was because I had read that you would be adding "soon" a server based in Spain. I can see just looking at this thread that I am not alone, and that there are many others requesting the same, or that at least you inform us AS CUSTOMERS what are your plans for the same. User PAK in the message above has already voted with his feet.
+1 for Spain server. It's ridiculous, but there is no easy way to watch Liga highlight recaps. Chrome addon proxys are unreliable and so is Youtube. I wish I can just go to Marca.com and watch a recap without getting geoblocked.
Amazing that PIA hasn't answered numerous requests for a Spanish server. I posted on this thread more than a year ago. I changed VPNs since and since my renewal on the other service came up I came back to check if they had complied with the customers. So sad that having such a good service they don't listen to customers.

Moreover, the problem I signaled about geolocation of Italian servers is still unsettled.
I am considering not to renew my subscription when it expires
