PIA Removal Of All Inappropriate Content!
To all Forums members !
"Private Internet Access is a welcoming place for all people and ages.As a result, posting pornographic content to our forums is restricted, because readers of all ages including minors are able to access our website. "
As a result all previously inappropriate posted images will now be removed and will continue to be removed going forward.
Continued abuse of this new policy can lead to the removal of your account from our forums.
Thank you for your understanding.

Anyway, there was only one guy posting inappropriate images with sock puppets.
Jason, you and your company are floundering. You have no clear direction on how to manage these forums, and you will continue to flounder if you don't think things through more carefully. For example, of what practical effect will "removal of your account from our forums" be when the person responsible for posting his filth on the forums, whom I will refer to collectively as "robert_lazar", already has at least a dozen accounts?
Jason, please explain when this will start being enforced (I have to ask because, as of right now it's not being enforced): "As a result all previously inappropriate posted images will now be removed and will continue to be removed going forward."
For example, there are multiple porno images in this thread. One porno image in particular that I'd already complained about days ago has still not been removed. Given that it's defamatory and libelous of Jamie Hyneman and Kari Byron I'm disturbed to see it has yet to be taken down. When are you going to commence enforcement of the no-porn policy?
Let me suggest to any forum members that if they run across any other porn, please post the links here so that Jason can remove them.
If any new porn gets posted notify Jason immediately so that he can disable the offender's account. (not that it will do any good -- robert_lazar will just create more accounts, using throw-away email addresses, as he's already acknowledged he does).
Here is one to kill off. https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/comment/32754/#Comment_32754
Please feel free to delete the link when it is no longer useful. If not, I will edit it out when the post is gone.

PIA does not work exclusively in America. And the First Amendment does not exist as it does in America elsewhere.
They are just enforcing their rules. I applaud them for it. You are free to leave the service if you are this displeased. Good luck finding so tolerant a VPN though.
Company makes no representation that this Site is appropriate or available for use in other locations outside the United States.
Wrong. That is for the VPN. This is the forum.

7. Private Internet Access is a welcoming place for all people. As a result, posting pornographic content to our forums is restricted because readers of all ages including minors are able to access our website.

overrides their ToS since it is probably approved by PIA admins
Another observation : You keep bringing up 'Andrew Lee'. Robert does the same. Again, I apologize if you are not Robert.
You are the one who used his name. Robert did that too. He often mentioned London Trust media and Andrew Lee and that PIA forum mods are making rules without the knowledge of Andrew Lee. The mod who wrote the new policy have said his orders came from his superiors.
Only you two believe that and it is suspicious, probably you two are the same people.
See the consequtive comments above from catcher and robert
I don't want it here, and I don't want to have to worry about my kids stumbling across it when they come to this forum looking for help.
This isn't about "free speech" or censorship. This is about your entitlement attitude to be able to freely offend, repulse, and shock other members here, most of which are only here to find solutions to their technical problems.
You get your jollies shocking people in the same way that a flasher enjoys going out in public and opening his overcoat to shock little old ladies to nothing on underneath. Flashers too call what they do "free speech," but the little old ladies and children don't appreciate it and will do what they can to stop it.
Take your porn collection elsewhere. I don't want to see it here again.
It's not going to be a long and vicious fight. You've already lost.
I get your point and I believe in freedom. Yet, you somehow feel you are entitled to whatever you want, whenever and wherever. And that is where you are wrong. This forum is not yours. It belongs to PIA and they have the right to create and enforce whatever TOS they desire. You may attack that and debate that fact all you want, but in the end, there it is.
There are limits on free speech whether you realize it or not. You are only restricted here. There are literally millions of other websites/forums you can post anything you want to. While your personal freedoms/desires might be limited at some sites, the rest of the internet is there for you to enjoy. Have at it.
