'Advanced' user losing my damn mind.
I have a 60mb connection.
I have a server running 2 VMs.
Server runs Sonarr and Couchpotato and has 12tb of storage.
BT VM runs PIA and downloads torrents to mapped drive on host server.
MS VM runs DLNA server hosting media on same mapped drive.
Previously, I had uTorrent 2.2.1 configured with PIA and port forward. Upnp disabled, uT would complain I didn't have port forwarding configured right, but I was seeding at about 200kbs while downloading around 1-2mbs. Granted, it's 1/3 my connection, but I was content.
However, when I wanted migrate to using Sonarr and CP, they only support v3 of uT and newer.... which, no thanks. So, I loaded up Deluge.
I cannot get Deluge to work after about 3 days of beating on it.
Using any of the port forward VPN locations and every combination of port, Deluge would top out around 30kbs and not upload while saying port forwarding is working. I remembered to turn off UPNP, but that didn't help either. The behavior I'd see was, set to 8 active torrents, Deluge would try to download 20+ and just bounce around hitting them randomly for 1-5kbps. Left over night, every torrent progressed about 1-10% and not a single one finished.
I've been trying every combination of setting in Deluge and PIA, but I'm consistently seeing 20-30kbps down and 0 up.
For the time being, I've configured Deluge to use SOCKS5 (verified it's actually working) and disabled PIA and I'm seeing 2mb+ on downloads, which is great... but I'm not seeding at all, which is bad- especially for my private trackers.
