Torrents not working in Win7 Virtualbox

edited January 2016 in VPN Setup Support
This was working fine but for some reason now when I try and use qBittorrent in my Win7 Virtualbox it doesn't download and shows no DHT nodes. If I connect to PIA with my Win8.1 host and run qBittorrent in that, it shows 350+ nodes and downloads fine.

I'm currently using the Bridged networking in the Virtualbox guest rather than NAT but I did try NAT before as well and that didn't work any better. I've tried disabling my Comodo firewall before launching qBittorrent and that doesn't make any difference and I don't have anything else running in the guest that could be interfering.

The only wierd thing I see in the qBittorrent log on the guest is it shows:

10/01/2016 23:16 - qBittorrent failed listening on interface 10.x.x.x port: UDP/6991. Reason: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
10/01/2016 23:16 - qBittorrent is successfully listening on interface 10.x.x.x port: TCP/6991
10/01/2016 23:16 - qBittorrent is successfully listening on interface 10.x.x.x port: UDP/6991
10/01/2016 23:16 - qBittorrent is successfully listening on interface 10.x.x.x port: TCP_SSL/4433
10/01/2016 23:16 - qBittorrent is successfully listening on interface 10.x.x.x port: TCP/6991

whereas the host doesn't show that "failed" line, so I'm not sure why it's trying to open a second instance of that socket on the guest. Even if I completely uninstall and reinstall qBittorrent I still get that error in the log.

Is anyone else using PIA in a Virtualbox who might be able to help me work out what's gone wrong?

I've learned now with a PIA post to check for a reply to a thread first before reading the entire thread.  Since, it appears PIA doesn't respond to help.

I'm having a simiar issue but not using a virtual box.

Anyway, good luck.  You may want to ask this in the PIA subreddit.
