Deadpool Movie !!!

Hey Everyone !

Just thought with the impending release of Deadpool coming soon, i'd see what everyones view on the subject is currently. 

1) Are you excited for the movie, if yes then why?
2) If no then elaborate on your feelings

    I am looking forward to  it because DP is a villain that winds up playing the hero role by sheer coincidence. It breaks the mold of heroes being heroes because they cannot be selfish bastards.

    This is a very good thing for cinema in general.

    After watching the trailer it doesn't look like the sort of thing we'll be able to watch as a family. That's disappointing. They could have just as easily left out the offensive language and made it a family-friendly movie.

    I agree with you 100% on that, and I myself am 100% looking forward to the movie more so then a lot of others. 


    Unfortunately I will have to disagree with you on that point, the whole persona that is Deadpool is truly not remotely achievable without the crass and offensive language, as this truly makes up the essence of the smart A** he is. 

    I truly enjoy the ability to have some great discussions with you guys, even if it is just random movie talk!

    Family movies are the type that I hate most of all. DP is not intended for them, and is a bad match if a match at all.

    The storyline as I understand it is that he was originally a decent and upstanding citizen that paid his taxes, took out the trash, and helped the senile neighbors take out their trash too. But something happened to him that made him a whole new person with a new outlook on life.

    He no longer understood right and wrong at all. If his neighbors asked him to help take out the trash, he would likely murder them and throw them in the dumpster. And to him that would be "help".

    In short, he is a megalomaniac and a psychopath. He never choose this. It just happened. And afterwards he did what he thought was right, although it was usually as close to evil as he could manage.
