VPN dropping when QBittorrent downloaded on TCP 443. Ok on UDP?

I am new to PIA and have set up a new Win7 torrent-box with Qbittorrent. It has been suggested that setting the VPN to TCP 443 generally hides traffic better than the others as it looks more like normal HTTPS traffic.
The problem is when I set it to TCP Port 443 (or any port on TCP) and turn on QBittorrent the PIA VPN connection continuously disconnects and reconnects after a few moments. If i set it to UDP auto the problem clears up and the connection appears stable. Has anyone had this issue or similar or have any ideas on what may resolve it?
