PIA together with After Effects and Cinema 4D - Port 5027 error
Does anyone use PIA together with
After Effects an Cinema 4D with the Cineware plugin?
Because since using PIA, I always get this error message with port 5027 or port 5030, so I tried different ports already. Does PIA block port communication?
Because when I turn PIA off, After Effects and Cinema 4D with Cineweare and work just fine and smoothly.
Anyone has an idea how to make PIA allow communication between After Effects and Cinema 4D via Cineware with port 5027?

If they are blocking the VPN by IP, the best you can do is continue switching servers by disconnecting and reconnecting and try new locations. PIA has over 3300 servers., each with a unique IP address. Surely some of them are not yet blocked by this.
I know it is a pain in the ass. But it may well be worth the trouble to try. The only alternative is to do what those assholes at Cineware want and disconnect from the VPN.
Please do write and send a letter to them about how you are doing nothing wrong but are being treated as if you were a criminal because they refuse to allow VPNs to connect. Put a link to this thread in your letter so they can see the problem. If they are staffed by actual Humans, they may actually be able to help by removing the IPs used by the VPN from their block list.
I wish I could help. But this is between them and you. Surely others here can help? There must be others here that use this software?
