[Mac OSX] Torrents not downloading with proxy but downloading with VPN on
I just got PIA today and ive set up the proxy on BitTorrent 7.4.3 with proxy server: SOCKS5, address: proxy-nl.privateinternetaccess.com, port 1080 and use proxy for hostname lookups and use proxy for peer to peer connections checked.
My firewall is off. When I try to download torrents with this on the torrents all stay at Downloading 0% and wont find any peers or seeds. The moment I remove the proxy settings and use either the VPN or my regular connection the peer and seeds count skyrocket and the torrents download as usual.
What could be causing this issue, or what else do I have to check to make sure that I've set up PIA correctly? Thanks.
