Command Line support for PIA

Could you possibly provide Command Line support for PIA in a future upgrade?

I particularly want to be able to Connect and Disconnect using a couple of keystrokes.  This is because my email provider won't allow emails to be sent when PIA is connected, so I have to disconnect, then send the email, then reconnect.

But it would be really excellent if also the list of PIA servers, and the UI of PIA, could be accessed by the Command Line

. . . or perhaps Command Line support is already provided, and I have failed to find the details on the website.

  • Thanks, johnnyzero, for the post.  It confirms two things:
    1.  PIA does not have command-line support for Connect and Disconect.
    2.  People would like such support.
It would be far prefereable to have this provided within the PIA software rather than going to third-party software.  PIA — can this possibly be added in the future?

By the way, I was not able to download the file referred to above, because Eset, my internet security suite, declared that it contained malware, and refused to save it onto the system. I tried twice — here's the resulting XML log file from Eset:
