Opening PIA after Mac has started up

I have PIA set to open on startup. If I have an issue with PIA and it crashes or, if I accidentally quit it (not something I like to do but it has happened) how do I get it to open again?

Going to the apps folder and finding the app icon does absolutely nothing visible. The PIA icon will not re-appear in either my menubar or my dock. The only way I can get PIA running again seems to be re-booting the entire system.

    Hi p1764195,

    This is an issue that is often caused by having the killswitch enabled at the time the application crashes, or when your computer resumes from sleep mode. Our developers are aware of the issue and it will be fixed in a future update. Until the fix is implemented, you can try disabling the killswitch which should help resolve this issue.

    If you still see the issue afterwards, we recommend either disconnecting the VPN before leaving your computer for long periods, or powering down for five minutes and then turning the computer back on. The VPN should then function properly.
