Help Connect on Android

in Android VPN Setup
I have a Galaxy S6 edge+ with the latest Marshmallow update. Attempts to connect through the PIA app have not worked. Regardless of server selected, I have the "You are offline" message on Google search despite the app saying it is connected. I'd go into further detail but I'm not sure how.

On my older and unsupported Android device, the PIA app works perfectly.

    • Open up the menu, and enter Settings.
    • Scroll to the Connections sections, and tap on ‘More’ connection settings.
    • From More connection settings, tap on VPN.
    • Now insert a VPN profile by clicking on Add VPN at top right corner of the screen.
    • On edit VPN network screen, type in a connection name and choose the tunneling protocol.
    • Type in the Server address given by the VPN service and tap on Save.
    • Click on newly added VPN connection. Type in VPN login details, check mark on Save account information and tap Connect to begin.
    • Upon successful connection, the VPN status will show you connected. Have FUN!
