Mac Messages and Call Forwarding Not Working?

Good evening.  Noticed for the past few weeks call forwarding, continuity, was not working reliably...my iPhone would ring but not on my mac as it used to.  Same with messages..I would send a message and wouldn't get any notification of delivery and no responses...they would show on my iPhone as being sent.  Since updating the PIA software to latest version its not working at all.  When I disconnect from the vpn everything is working fine.  Anyone else experience this?  Running 10.11.5

    I have been having the same problems.  I also cannot use Safari or my Grappler program.  I upgraded to the newest PIA client just after I went to the beta MacOS.  So not sure which is the problem.

    Same problem here with the messages.  Sometimes it works, but sometimes they won't come through on the laptop until I disconnect the VPN.  Started around the v.60 or v.61 upgrade of the PIA client.  Not running the OSX Sierra Beta, so that can be ruled out.

    I heard back from support and they suggested opening ports and changing some settings.  Since I posted this things have been working pretty well since without making any changes.  Not sure how long that will last.
