When these companies like Apple talks about defending privacy etc etc, it is all probably a talk as a PR stunt to appease the general public in this Snowden revelation world. It is bad for business if general public continues to remember that they are cooperating with NSA. Foruntaely, general public has short term memory.

Apple is a scam. It always was. When you buy Apple anything, you are agreeing to be their bitch forever. Anything you do with their hardware is theirs. And they will rat you out in a heartbeat, so long as money is involved. (They think Piracy is the only crime on Earth.) They let terrorists have a get out of prison free card, but they will tie the noose themselves if you are even accused of "infringement".
