No option to disable PIA notifications on OS X?

I want an option to disable the connecting to VPN status notifications, to not make it too obvious I am using a VPN when people stare at my screen.

    Thanks for letting us know! This has been a much-requested feature, we should be addressing this fairly soon.

    I hope so.  If its not by the time my subscription is due for renewal, I start looking elsewhere. This notification frenzy on the part of developers is like spam and ads.

    Just as an update, this has been addressed with our most recent release, which is available here: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/client-support/

    Underneath the standard login menu, there should now be a checkbox to disable the notifications.
