That is,
Iraq was substituted for Iran.
Upon further
investigation, I learned from the website http://www.export.pitt.edu/embargoed-and-sanctioned-countries
that Iraq was not sanctioned. The site
states that “Embargoes sanctions (CRIMEA - REGION OF UKRAINE, CUBA, IRAN, NORTH
KOREA, SUDAN, and SYRIA) prohibit ALL transactions (including imports and
exports) without a license authorization.”
I’m not sure
if you are citing a particular category of goods or if you are making a general
reference.
