Failed server / wifi connection

The VPN on my iPad had been working fine for the past few days.  Just the other day, I disconnected and tried to reconnect to a different server but now it won't connect to any server. It's just stuck on "connecting" (blue) then goes back to disconnected (red), and tries to reconnect again but fails. While the VPN is "reconnecting", my home wifi internet also disconnects. Can anyone help with this?  Nothing has changed between me disconnecting the VPN and trying to connect to a different server. Being on novice, any guidance would be appreciated.

try using openvpn connect

I'm surprised you cant connect.Do you have your wifi activated on your ipad? Another thing before you try openvpn connect try a free vpn just to see if it connects on apple store and then uninstall it.

What I might do is reset the iPad network to factory settings, reconnect to my wifi and go through the process again. I've tried it on my wife's iPad and it's the same problem there too.

I have exacly the same issue. Any fixes other than Open VPN?
