Connection/Discussion Notification Bubble (OS X)

Very minor request: Is there a way to better control the notification bubble? It stays up an annoyingly long time (especially the Disconnect bubble). What really makes it annoying  is the location: It blocks the top right menu items (of which, in Finder, the majority sit).

    Try disabling "show desktop notifications" in Advanced Options. You'll need to disconnect first.
