PIA through Nighthawk R7000

I installed PIA on my windows PC, which is connected to the ISP's modem, everything works great, both browsing and torrents. For a better wireless signal I added a Nighthawk R7000 and I connected all my devices through it to the ISP's modem. Now, with this new setup, PIA works great for browsing, but the torrents don't connect at all (probably filtered at some leve). Do you know what setting should I check for in the router, μTorrent, PIA or modem? They all have the default settings. I see that μTorrent listens on 50403. If I set PIA's connection type to TCP instead of UDP, μTorrent connects for a few seconds after which PIA disconnects from whatever server I connect to. Thanks!

Are you using the port that is assigned to the server you are accessing through PIA? If not, disconnect then look at your pia setttings and then enter that port as your incoming port.
My speeds have decreased a bit on speedtest with the nighthawk, partially b/c I had to use an archaic modem in order to keep my landline. But I NEED my wifi, is yours working. I am on PC ethernet but my iphoneg cannot get the wifi, althougfh I can see it, just cant hop on it. anyone?
