Will the PIA VPN Android app remain connected as my phone moves from mobile data, to wifi, and back again? Also, will the app use more data than if I weren't using it and if so how much more?
Thanks for reaching out regarding this. The VPN connection can not function with out an internet connection itself, that being said there would be no existing connection to protect. However, once an internet connection has been re-established, the VPN connection will resume as normal on the new connection.
In terms of data usage, it is expected that you may use slightly more data than usual as you would be placing an Encryption on each packet incoming / going from the device.
