Internet sharing and PIA

Hi,

Is there a way to use the "internet sharing" functionality of MacOS with PIA? I'd like to have a Mac computer connected permanently via PIA, and then share that connection to the rest of my network, so everyone is protected.

I know you can do it with the integrated VPN functionality of MacOS and PPTP, but this is abysmally slow. Ie, when I do it this way, I only get about 10% of my actual bandwidth. I do not have the same issue when using the PIA desktop app, or other openvpn GUIs.

Ideas?

    I'm having the same issue, except I'm not getting any connection at all from any of the devices connected to the "shared internet." Any help at all on this would be great!

    I ended up doing L2TP instead of PPTP, and I got full speed there. Not sure why PPTP was slow.

    So it works: Mac connects via L2TP, and I share that connection.
