Fix the OSX Mess PIA Client Left

Back in September I downloaded the PIA client for OS X. I now run (macOS 10.12.3.) I got rid of the client but some how it left some apps on my mac, like Messages (iMessage), unable to connect with the internet. For example, Messages returns this authentication error when attempting to connect to iMessage: http://i.imgur.com/I423rAn.png . Note: I am not troubleshooting this while connected to a VPN. In other words, my OS is messed up now, even VPN-less. This issue is only on this install of the OS. A fresh install on the drive (partitioned) worked with the same Apple ID/Network. I have read others complaints that the PIA client messed up their OS X settings. I have removed all traces of the client and use tunnelblick instead. But still -- not working! I think this is an easy fix -- not sure what, though. I would imagine there are some terminal commands that can reset any changed settings. It would appear to be a port issue if that helps. (Ports 80, 443, and 5223). TL;DR: After installing the PIA mac client and uninstalling it, while NOT using a VPN, OS X apps like Messages and FaceTime (iMessage) cannot access the internet to log in. Is there a way to reset all the port settings, etc with terminal? Troubleshooting so far: I've narrowed it down to this iOS install (see above) I do not have a firewall on I've deleted all plists I've even reinstalled the OS over itself (not a clean install) Other Mac based troubleshooting This is not Apple troubleshooting. This is a networking issue in the OS. There's a terminal wiz who can figure this out.
