Cannot get split-tunneling to work
I am trying to have my torrent traffic only go through the VPN while all other traffic goes through my public IP. I specifically need my Plex server traffic on my public IP, but while setting up static routes allows for my server to see my public IP, I still have no internet connection to my Plex server unless I set the mask on the routes to 255.0.0.0 which is unacceptable. Everything works fine when the VPN is turned off so I know it isn't a port forwarding issue either and my local network has access to my server with the VPN on or off. Is the PIA client still hijacking the connection for some reason? What can I do to remedy this? Do I just need to ditch the PIA client and get the OpenVPN client and configure that for the static routes?
