DD-WRT VPN was working, now fresh setup doesn't even try to connect
I had a the OpenVPN connection to PIA working well in my DD-WRT router. I decided to upgrade my DD-WRT version and was having a lot of crashes so had to reset my settings and redo everything from scratch. This fixed my crashing problem but now I can't get the OpenVPN client in DD-WRT to try connect to PIA. There are no error messages, the OpenVPN status page is just all blank except for the command used.

I followed the setup instructions here: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/client-support/dd-wrt-openvpn
I am connecting to port 443/TCP using the certificate and settings here: https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.com/hc/en-us/articles/225274288-Which-encryption-auth-settings-should-I-use-for-ports-on-your-gateways-
(I need to use 443/TCP due to throttling/blocking issues with UDP and other ports by my ISP).
In the past when I had connection problems, it was clearly trying to connect and would show errors in the log. Now it just doesn't seem to do anything.
Can anybody point out what I'm doing wrong?
Also, is the client user/pw supposed to be the same one used to login to your PIA user account, or the one generated for PPTP/L2TP/SOCKS?

But all that is separate from my question (UDP and port are not part of the problem here since it never even tries to connect). I had the TCP VPN working fine on the previous firmware. Now I'm trying to recreate the same setup and have the settings the same, but it doesn't even try to connect.
Can anybody help with that? Thanks in advance.
<br>but, you could try enabling the MSS Fix.
