Doble NAT workaround
Hi, I was recently considering setting up my own small linux file server at college dorm, but ran into some problems with double NAT.Basically my router seems to be behind another router which handles the port forwarding and the IP assigned to me in WAN area of my router is in the private range(172. etc) so I cant access the server from any outside network. Would VPN help me as a workaround for my situation? Also would I need to set up port forwarding on PIA or would it just allow traffic to pass through on any ports and I would just have to set up a port forwarding rule on my router to direct traffic to the server?
Thanks for any help
