How come at https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/network/ at the bottom under the server list it says "3465 servers" but if you add up the servers for each gateway it comes out to be 3259 and not 3465?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I'll forward this to our web devs to get it looked into ASAP. Please let us know if we can help with anything else!
Nahhhhh ...... its that I have a program which takes a look at each regional gateway and does a latency vs throughput measurement for a test instrument. During this it looks at the PIA network web page and pulls a list of regional gateways and the number of servers at each gateway (to ensure we always have the latest to test with) and the total count of servers on the PIA network web page, then it performs a latency vs throughput measurement for each regional gateway and gives me a count of the total servers at each regional gateway with the regional gateway latencies vs throughput. I was doing some network compliance testing for a client PIA VPN network system. I ran the program when I put the network back on line. I happen to notice the final server count from the program output and the total count pulled from the PIA network page did not match when it should have. I checked the PIA network page and pulled the list then added up the total given for each regional gateway and it came out 3259 and not 3465 as shown on the PIA network page. Our client see's the results, and wants to make sure they get what they pay for so they asked the question too, so I asked it here. It was time I got paid for.
