Android TV [Solved]

Are there any plans to release a native Android TV app? The only option to use the VPN on my android TV seems to be by configuring it on my router. I don't know if I want to sacrifice my fast speeds for all browsing. I'd prefer to be able to turn my VPN on and off like I can on my Android phone and Windows PC.

Apologies if this was already asked. I searched AndroidTV and Android TV and nothing relevant appeared.

I use the router method and it is flawless.
Anyhow, why don't you just install the PIA Android App on your Android TV (Box)?

Install Kodi on your TV and then install the PIA app within Kodi.

I have a Sony Bravia and kodi works fine - allowed me to install apps for Australian (Sydney) TV stations. Havent bothered with PIA on TV so no advice there.

Hello Mancolt,

TVs sometimes restrict the APIs that you can use which makes it difficult, but we do offer an APK as well as Stock OpenVPN.

If you cannot get this to work, please try OpenVPN connect, which you can find out how to setup here: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/client-support/android-openvpn-connect

Which Add-on did you use within Kodi on Android? also did it allow LAN Access to other devices within your network?
