PIA Chrome extension & Google services
I originally signed up for PIA with the intention of setting it up on my home router and figuring out policy-based routing to view sites like Netflix and Hulu without disconnecting from the VPN, but all that turned out to be over my head. Fortunately and surprisingly, the simple PIA Chrome extension seems to fulfill this desire with its bypass list.
For example,. I'm able to view the two aforementioned media streaming sites without disconnecting from PIA since adding the following to the Chrome extension bypass list:
*.netflix.com,*.netflix.net,*.nflximg.com,*.nflxvideo.net,*.hulu.com
I only added those domains after finding some helpful posts in various forums. The one site/service (so far) still giving me trouble while connected via PIA is the Google Keep Chrome app.
Before adding anything to the bypass list, the Google Keep Chrome app would remain offline. Trying to follow the logic behind what has allowed me to view Netflix and Hulu, I added *.google.com to the bypass list. Ever since, the Google Keep app will continually and disruptively try to refresh, making it unusable.
Any ideas of any other domains I could add to the bypass list so I can use Google Keep without disconnecting from PIA?
Incidentally, how does one figure out domains being requested like those who found out all the different domains associated with Netflix? Can I view domain requests made from my computer?
