VPN not disconnecting, App is causing dock issues
Morning all,
New to PIA, very happy so far and recommending to anyone that will stay still long enough
however...
1. I am having trouble getting the app to disconnect. It connects nicely, and I check by going to a google and doing the "what is my ip" thing. Being new to it I am keeping an eye on things until I am confident with it.
After I am finished using it I am disconnecting through the app. I checked the what is my ip and it is still reporting an ip address that isnt my isp assigned one. I even quit the app, still the same. I cant figure out how to stop it. I have no really issue with staying on the vpn but I'm temporarily stuck on adsl2 (thanks Mal) until the lead in is completed to my apartment block, and I'm already struggling with speeds.
Any suggestions?
2. I stoked up the app last night, connected, but my DisplayLink dock went nuts - the two extra screens on it froze when the rest of the system went to the screen saver, no movement, wouldnt even go into power save. Even power cycling the dock didnt work. I had to reset the background and now it seems to work. Now, of course this may *not* be the PIA app, but its the only thing that has changed in the last week. I will try it again, hopefully it was just a glitch, but I would be interested in hearing if anyone else had the same issue.

2012 MacBook Pro, 16 gig ram, displaylink dock with 4 screens (two mac, two dock)

Turns out the second router I set up purely for PIA had taken over and the computer decided to use IT as the gateway, and the screen issue *may* have been related to synergy going nuts.
