Debain -ParrotSec/Kali client install

Hello,

I've managed to get the Client GUi installed on parrotOS (debian) however It won't run ?

On kali Linux I could only get it to work via the OpenVPN Method however now do not have port forwarding options ?

Any way to get either of these issues working?

Hi,
  just use openvpn, its much easier.
just after connecting, to forward a port run these commands:

head -n 100 /dev/urandom | sha256sum | tr -d " -" > /etc/openvpn/client_id

This only needs to be run once so you can keep the same port whenever you connect to a server, if you want to change port just run it again.

curl http://209.222.18.222:2000/?client_id=$(cat /etc/openvpn/client_id)

The curl command will tell you what port was forwarded.
