Confusion reigns over whether Aussie VPNs must keep user metadata
AGD refuses to provide clarity to service on VPN pertaining to metadata laws, so the question is what is PIA stance or policy with regards to Australian metadata law if the law is invoked by the AGD ?

Strongly recomend though if you are in Australia "change DNS settings"
https://support.hidemyass.com/hc/en-us/articles/202720776-Changing-your-DNS-settings-on-Windows-Mac-Android-iOS-Linux
this stops your Australian IP logging you.
Secondly, my PIA is running off the router, not off the O/S or app.
Thirdly Interpretation of AUS communication acts with regards to metadata is up to the Countries Gov. Not VPN providers.
Fourth Changing ya DNS to the VPN DNS is the smarter move since ya masking ya request.
