NO SUPPORT AT ALL. JUST AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE EMAIL. RAD!

I'm really upset at the COMPLETE lack of support.  I've seen in the discussions where NEW users are unable to find support at all for your service.  So, you have no problem taking their money apparently but cannot support your service for them?  If you are unable to support your service you should NOT BE TAKING new subscriptions!  That is TERRIBLE customer service!  As far as customers that have already been using your service don't you think it would make sense to have them automatically emailed regarding this issue?  Offer partial/full reimbursement.  To me the total lack of communication doesn't feel like you're restructuring your support team, it feels like you're packing up the cash and bailing on your customers.

So mad.

  • Update!  Finally got a response.  They told me their app doesn't work with ubuntu 17, which is weird because I never said I am running 17.  As a matter of fact I'm running 16.  I guess its easier to just tell people it doesnt work than actually trying to fix the problem.
  • Hi @PLZHLP,

Please PM me your ticket number and I'll look into it personally as well as the agents response.

  • Do they not have OpenVPN for Ubuntu? The PIA app is just a GUI for configuring and selecting what location your want to access. OpenVPN does the same thing except it uses modifiable config files.
