PIA Application disconnects by itself and Kill Switch Inoperative

Win 7 64 bit PC.

PIA app. disconnects by itself (turns red) and it will stay disconnected until I either restart my computer or close and restart the application.

Also, the Kill Switch doesn't work at all. It used to work on an older version of the application, I believe.

I contacted customer support and the suggested that I reinstall the app. and the tap driver. it didn't help at all.

All of this is quite disturbing while I am using Bit Torrent.
