Router Intrusions
My router has been detecting an extremely high number of intrusions (in the tens of thousands) of the following types:
fragment_sweep
fragment_out-of-order
udp_port_scan
tcp_null_port
tcp_data_on_syn_segment
tcp_syn_scan
udp_null_port
(and many other technical terms like these).
Does anyone know if this means that this router specifically, or any of the devices connected to it is under attack, and whether this is something to be concerned about?
Does this have anything to do with VPN, or could it be the result of malware/trojan existing on any of the devices?
Any input from those who know would be appreciated!
