[Solved] Does anyone else have trouble contacting PIA for customer service?

edited July 2017 in Feedback
I was charged for the month like usual by PIA, but they cut off my service and claimed I never paid despite verifying from my bank that the payment was successfully processed on the usual payment date. I asked them to look into it and resume my service, but it's been a week and I have heard nothing at all back despite repeated attempts to both email them and creating a ticket through their customer service contact page. I have had service cut off for half a month now without hearing any word other than when they graciously informed me that my service would be cut off after a "grace period." Obviously I cancelled my subscription to ensure they wouldn't take more money from me without providing service. I still have not gotten a refund for the month that I paid for or any service for that month. Has anyone else had any previous experiences or issues dealing with PIA and their customer service? They don't seem to have any customer service at all as far as I have experienced. Guess I will just have to move on to another service; there are too many competitors to risk with a company like this. At this point I would rather just rent a server and set up my own VPN; it's way less hassle at this point.

  • A lot of guys PM the customer support personnel. There are 4 or 5 of them here helping while they clear the tickets. Then can be found in most of the older support issue threads. They are very proactive trying to help.
  • What happened to the ANSWER BOT that Support was going to implement?  It was supposed to reduce the workload so that humans can handle more complex issues, such as, Axeninja's.
  • Hi @Axeninja,

I'm very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Please PM me your ticket number and I'll personally address your issue.
