PIA and Debian 9
I was never able to use the PIA software on Debian 9, so I opened a ticket. Here is what I was told.
"Thank you for using our VPN for your private internet access, I sincerely apologize for the long response time. Our Customer Support structure recently underwent major changes and is now experiencing a heavy volume of tickets. Thank you so much for your patience.
Unfortunately at this time our systems does not support your operating system, what I would suggest is that you install Openvpn. Here is a article from our support center."
I did get it working using openvpen on a virtual machine I used to test with.
Thought you all should know before trying to make the software work on Debian 9 (Stretch).

also, at https://www.ubuntu.com/about/about-ubuntu/ubuntu-and-debian it says "Debian can be considered the rock upon which Ubuntu is built."

Following the instructions I could install PIA successfully in Debian 9 XFCE.
Nevertheless this has two disadvantages over a "normal" PIA installation:
1. You have no Kill Switch (at least I could not see how to setup it).
2. I had to enter my password for each new different connection.
What's not working for you, what distro and what DE are you using?
