Best settings to use while torrenting?

Hey, I was just wondering what would be the best settings to use while torrenting games and other things. I've been getting very low speeds using PIA (less than 500kb/s) and was wondering if I change a few settings if it will make it faster. I don't really use a VPN other than when I'm torrenting so my ISP doesn't find out. Basically looking for settings that will only hide my ip so my isp doesn't see that I'm torrenting, don't really care about the other stuff.

I'm on windows 10 and live in Canada, and my speeds without the VPN are 100 down and 10 up if that makes a difference. (Sorry I'm new to these kinda things)

Did u ever get your settings sorted? I have always had the your problem with speeds.

Have you made sure to disable uTP in uTorrent and set up port forwarding in the PIA app as well as uTorrent? Torrents are very sensitive to this and works best when you are reachable directly.
