PIA on Solus 3 via script

Just a quick tip.

Download the latest version of the Linux install script.
It's developed with main stream distributions like Ubuntu and fedora in mind.
But all it does is check if python and network-manager-openvpn are installed, they are on Solus 3 by default.

Run $ sudo mkdir -p /etc/openvpn
This will create the directory that the scrip downloads some stuff to
Run the script as you normally would $ sudo sh ./pia_nm.sh
Answer the questions and you are all set, nicely integrated in the UI.

  • Thanks for the idea, I just tried this using the Ubuntu OpenVPN script and it worked like a charm.
