pia_openvpn_client incoming connection on port 49222
Occasionally little snitch will block an incoming UDP connection from the pia_openvpn_client executable on port 49222. What is the purpose of this connection?

IP works with source IP+port -> destination IP+port, so in order to talk to PIA you have to pick a source port — which the OS does automatically at random. When the server replies or sends data to the client, it comes back to that port.
This sounds like it's just whatever port was automatically picked to communicate.
I do not think this is anything to worry about
PS. Why does this forum require all kind of Google javascripting to sign up... terrible.
