DD-WRT for Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH

HI All,
I am new to PIA and would like to set my router to openVPN so all my devices can have the safety of PIA.
But I am having trouble locating a DD-WRT load that has the proper features that runs on my Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH (V1 I think).
The DD-WRT router database gives me an old version "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std - build 14896" which doesn't have the openVPN setting that work.
I can't seen to figure out how to get a later version that matches the instructions on the PIA website.
I need a little guidance.

Did you see this on the DD-WRT website?

    "DD-WRT on Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH

Buffalo provides a re-branded version of DD-WRT specifically for this router. It can be flashed from the GUI and is available on the Buffalo website:

Go to that site and type in WZR-HP-G300NH and it should point you to the appropriate download for the buffalo dd-wrt professional firmware. As of Aug.2012 - the buffalo dd-wrt builds for this unit currently come in 2 builds only, which are 14998 and 19484

For build 19484, be aware of the issue that VLAN is turned on automatically by default, which makes clients unable to communicate with each other on the LAN ports.

The symptom is described here and can be fixed by startup script described in post 24 & 25. http://forums.buffalotech.com/index.php?topic=15378.15"

Another thing. There appears to be many builds for that device. Which one to use is up to you. If you go to DD-WRT FTP page you will find the builds.

    An example
will lead you to a page with years from 2010~2017. These folders have the builds by date.

this opens the folder containing all the builds for that year

This folder contains all the builds released on June 8, 2012

If you go down the device list you will find your device listed.
You then select that folder and save the files listed in that folder.

Now... I am in no way, shape, or form saying that this file will be the one to load. You have to do lots of research to find one that is stable and has what you need. Best place to look is the Buffalo Forums.

    Good luck
