Selective routing through VPN, Advanced tomato and R7000

I am writing as I am having trouble getting LAN IP addresses to route through the VPN. I am enabling Route through VPN and setting up from source IP address, but to no avail. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated on how to route specific LAN IP addresses through the VPN would be appreciate. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
