pia android app and screen cast just don't work!

On both my Samsung tablet and my latest Samsung s8 phone.
I am running the latest android pia app.
Also I have the allow local network access enabled.

But I just can't connect to screen mirror on my Samsung TV when Pia vpn us running.

What's going on?

    I don't know a whole lot about screen mirroring on Android as I unfortunately still don't have devices that can receive it, but given how Android works and how it implements the VPN connectivity I think it might be because the app you want to cast ends up thinking it's running in PIA's datacenter and doesn't find any TV there.

    One thing you can try would be to try whitelisting every app in the PIA app, connect the VPN and see if you can cast now. That way you will know if there's anything you can whitelist to resolve it. If it still doesn't work with every app whitelisted, then I'm afraid it's probably just not possible due to the way Android works.
