I have been trying to setup PIA on my router through PPTP and not use a third party firmware on the router. Can some walk me through the steps of setting my router up...

    A quick search for this router model seems to indicate it doesn't have PPTP Client functionality at all, only PPTP/L2TP passthrough options which only handles devices on the network to speak PPTP properly and be NAT'ed properly. This thread is literally the 4th result on Google for me:




    Any particular reason you don't want to flash a third-party firmware on your router?

    I just purchased this exact router and flashed it to dd-wrt. Flashing is incredibly easy via network cable and the latest test build. However, I would recommend buying the WRT 1200AC or WRT 1900AC as they have much more stable builds of dd-wrt. Or maybe even try LEDE.

    I even have the PIA VPN up and running. I do not yet know if the WiFi is working. Wired is fine.
