Service not connecting

So I've had PIA installed and working fine for over a month, but now it is no longer connecting. It stays stuck on the connecting icon and won't even let me disconnect. I tried closing the service out altogether and restarting it but it still is stuck in the connecting mode. I can't adjust settings at all because I can't disconnect. I turned off windows firewall completely and reinstalled TAP drivers but it still wont work. How can i resolve this?

    Hi, do you use an antivirus software and if yes, which one? Does the app become functional again if you reboot your computer completely up to the point you try connecting?
