Unable to purchase with American Express Bluebird

I'm unable to purchase a 1 year plan with an American Express Bluebird prepaid credit card.  Is this not supported?
"Card error  There was a problem processing your credit card. Please try again."

    Hello @bhernandez, We do accept prepaid cards, when using these type of cards please ensure that they are registered and that you are entering in the correct information. 

    Also one suggestion is to have a little more money on the card then account you are signing up for to ensure that there is no transaction fee.

    I recommend using a credit card or debit card to purchase the service, there's absolutely no hassle and you'll receive the receipt in your inbox seconds after the transaction is complete. However, if you want an anonymous payment method I would suggest going out and getting a disposable Visa gift card to pay for the service.

    @OpenVPN, prepaid credit gift cards work on a different network than your standard gift card. If they haven't been properly registered, our payment processor tends to flag the transaction as too risky/potentially fraudulent and declines to process it. Using a traditional gift card with Paygarden tends to be more convenient, and provides better anonymity.

    I didn't know that because I never use payment methods which must be registered before use. When I first opened up my PIA account in 2014 I used prepaid Visa gift cards to purchase the service but now I just use my debit card because the transaction is more convenient and there's no red tape to jump through.
