Is PIA or Comcast wfi hotspot limiting me?

When I connect to comcast wifi hotspot without vpn with wireless N on my moto x pure edition smart phone, I get 16MbpsDL & 6MbpsUL.
When using comcast wifi hotspot with PIA vpn everything is dreadly slow and I get 1.09MbpsDL and 5.09MbpsUL. As seen in screenshot below.

Is PIA or Comcast wfi hotspot limiting me?

Hmm, it's definitely interesting especially considering the download speed seems to take a bigger hit than the upload.

• Have you tried different ports and protocols, in particular TCP/443?
• Have you tried enabling the "Use small packets" option?
• Do you have a computer you could use to test on, or is your smartphone all you have available for troubleshooting?
• And finally, which region are you connecting to, so I can run some health check tests on my end in the meantime?

Switching the option to use tcp "will use udp to sign in" in the android pia app fixed it.
Is that what you were talking about?

Yup! That's the one I was referring to. Sorry, I had forgotten the naming was slightly different on Android. I'm glad that worked for you!
